File Preparation & Ordering Guide

What file formats do you prefer for fast laser cutting quotes?

1:1 scale .DXF files (in millimeters, with clean closed polylines and text converted to outlines) allow the fastest turnaround. We also accept .DWG, .STEP, .PDF technical drawings, or hand sketches if you need our CAD team to draw the part.

Can AceroCut supply the metal, or can I bring my own sheets?

Both! We offer turnkey fabrication including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum material, or cut-only service if you prefer to supply your own sheets or plates.

Do you handle single prototypes as well as production batches?

Yes. Because fiber laser cutting requires no hard stamping dies, we economically produce one-off replacement parts, architectural pieces, and recurring OEM batches alike.

Do you ship outside of David and Chiriquí?

Yes. Our workshop is located in David, Chiriquí, and we coordinate freight transport across all provinces of Panama, including Panama City, Santiago, Chitré, Bocas del Toro, and Colón.
